On behalf of the Grand Bank Volunteer Fire Department I would like to welcome you to our website and hope you take some time to learn a little about the Department.  As you browse the site, you will find a brief history, you will be able to meet the current and past firefighters, take a virtual walk through our fire hall, have a look at our photo gallery.

Grand Bank is located on the south coast of Newfoundland on the boot of the Burin Peninsula and has a population of approximately 2400 residents. Our annual call volume has averaged 15 calls per year over the past ten years. Our department consists of 26 volunteer members who are well trained and ready to answer the call 24/7. Our fleet consists of a 2016 pumper, 1999 840-gpm pumper, 2010 Emergency Response unit, a 1941 Fargo (antique), as well as a wide variety of equipment.

On behalf of all the firefighters, we hope you enjoy our website.
